Disney Designer Princess Doll – Second Doll Released

The next doll in the Disney Designer Princess Doll Collection has been released.

Drum roll please for…………. Ariel.

Ariel looks beautiful in her shimmering, aquamarine ruffled dress and her long flowing red hair.

As with the Cinderella Designer Princess Doll, Ariel has been elegantly crafted by the Disney designers to encapsulate the magic and style of a Disney Princess.

Ariel has dramatic make-up, a beautiful gold coloured shell jewel in her hair, a strapless aquamarine dress with rhinestones and multicoloured pleated ruffles, white gloves with rhinestone detailing.

The Ariel Designer Princess Doll has been given fantastic reviews on the Disney Store site.

Disney Designer Princess Collection – Just Launched

Disney have recently launched the Disney Designer Princess Collection for 2011. They will release a new Princess every Monday from now until 24th October 2011. I am so excited about this!

We recently returned for our first family holiday to Disney World in Florida this Summer and we all absolutely loved it. The whole family had a fantastic time it really was truly magical! – bit of a cliche but it was. I remember walking around the Magic Kingdom on our final afternoon and we were all quite sad because we were going home.

The kids still talk quite a lot about Disney World and they can’t wait until we go back. Truth be told neither can we .

When you are at Disney World there are so many fantastic things to buy. Disney have merchandising and sales down to a fine art. Trust me I know! However, when I saw the Disney Designer Princess Collection I thought it was make a fantastic keepsake for any child, whether they have been to Disney World or not, but who love Princesses.

Cinderella – The First Disney Designer Princess

Cinderella is the first Princess to be released. Doesn’t she look beautiful. I especially love her carriage-shaped clutch.

The doll has been elegantly designed by the Disney artists and is a beautiful representation of Cinderella.

The Cinderella Designer Princess Doll comes in her own keepsake display case with her name on the bottom. It also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and will be part of an 8000 Global Limited Edition.

So this certainly is not a toy but a beautiful collectors item that I am sure any little Princess will love and cherish.

Jinkies! Get Ready For A Great Party With Scooby Doo Party Supplies

If you are looking for a birthday party theme that both boys and girls can enjoy then Scooby Doo has to be pretty high on the list. Who doesn’t like Scooby Doo? I bet you can remember when you used to watch Scooby Doo when you were a child. I know I can and I am happy my children enjoy Scooby Doo today. They love watching the movies and cartoons, still finding them funny after watching them countless times.

Scooby Doo proved to be a big hit when I had a birthday party for my two oldest children who are boy/girl twins. For once there was no squabbling about different birthday cakes and not wanting any ‘Princesses’ at the party!

The invitations are cool with a great picture of Scooby Doo on the front. Decorations for the party are easily sorted out with the Scooby Doo Deluxe Party Kit. They has everything you need to make any venue look fantastic. As well as the invitations that pack contains dinner plates, cups, forks, spoons and napkins. A great tablecloth and Scooby Doo centrepiece which looks fantastic on the table. Also included is a great mylar balloon which a picture of Scooby Doo on it along with 18 latex balloons in three different colors, yellow, green and blue. Along with the three rolls of crepe paper again in yellow, green and blue these are great for decorating the venue. You also get three packs of curling ribbon in yellow, blue and purple. I personally tied these to the balloon, then tied some of the balloons onto the backs of the chairs where I would serve the party food, the rest I tied to the remaining balloons and I let them float around the room. It is amazing how much entertainment a simple little balloon can provide!

Last but not least are the candles for the cake. This is one of the most important things for a successful party. You can’t have a birthday party without a cake, right?

There were a couple of extra thing we bought for the party. One was a piñata, this is actually a Scooby Doo 3-D Pull String Piñata. We had never had one of these before and I have to say I was really impressed. It has numerous strings so that children can all pull together. It does take quite a good tug to get it open, a little more than I thought it would. However our kids did not have a problem with it and despite all the pulling is still stayed in one piece. It is now pride of place in my son’s room!

Another item was the personalized banner. We went for the large banner as we had two names to put on it! The banner was really good quality and I was really impressed. In my opinion it was a nice little extra touch to decorate the venue, the kids loved it, but if you are on a tight budget it is not really necessary and the decorations in the party pack are more the adequate.

The only other extra items I bought were the Scooby Doo Party Favor Boxes. These were great and really good quality. The kids loved them and they were a great way to finish off the party. If your budget allows I would definitely recommend getting these. Included in each box was a Scooby Doo Mask, Scooby Doo bounce ball, Scooby Doo blowout, stick sheet and a mini candy gumball machine. I also added a few extra sweets and chocolates to make sure the kids went home with a complete sugar rush! Only joking.

All in all the Scooby Doo party supplies are bright, colorful, well-made and a definite hit with party guests. Our kids loved their Scooby Doo party and I would definitely recommend this theme and these supplies to anyone thinking of having it for their kids party.
