Tangled Ever After – What’s The Story?
Following on from the huge success of the Disney movie, Tangled, the Tangled Ever After film proved a huge success with audiences who saw the short film before the viewing of the Beauty and the Beast 3D.
For those of you how haven’t seen it, Tangled Ever After is the story of Eugene (Flynn Rider) and Rapunzel’s wedding. This is a huge celebration for the Kingdom who not only have their princess back but have a wedding to celebrate or as Rapunzel and Eugene call it ‘the biggest shindig the kingdom has ever seen’.
All the plans go really well, the kingdom looks fantastic and Rapunzel is a very beautiful bride. All the usual suspects are in attendance, the King and Queen, the thugs the Stabbington Brothers, the drunk old man, Pascal as ‘flower girl’ and Maximus as the ‘best man’.
It looks like it will be the perfect wedding but …….
I won’t spoil it for those who have not seen the film but trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed. Lets just say Pascal and Maximus have a hard time looking after the wedding rings!

She is a little taller than most Disney dolls standing a 17″ high. But really this only makes the doll even more impressive. If you do collect Disney dolls such as the Disney Princess Designer Dolls then this will be a fantastic addition to you collection .

The Rapunzel wedding dress is the most beautiful costume I’ve seen. I bought it for my daughter today and the detail is just amazing. It is literally like a real wedding dress. The material is similar to adult gowns. I walked away at first, due to the price, but went back because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I know my younger daughter will wear it eventually and the dress appears to be such high-quality that I know it will last through 2 children.
This Gown is Phenomenal
Being a costume maker and a sewer, I can really appreciate the design of this gown. The execution was flawless. The fabric is soft yet heavy, but not to an overwhelming extent. The glitter actually stays in place, unlike a lot of other dresses. The gown is lined to prevent excessive itchiness. By far, this dress is one of the best, if not the best dress I have ever seen at the Disney Store. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get something lovely for their little princess!

“Daddy, this dress is stunning!”. These were the words of my 6-year old daughter the night that she saw this dress. And, I absolutely agree with her. The dress is just that – stunning. The dress has noticeable weight to it, but not to the point of discomfort; the weight is a testament to the quality of the material. It is completely lined and not at all itchy as so many other dresses are. The detail is unmatched – the glitter on the train and the embroidery in the gown are both just amazing. Perhaps most important, it has that perfect twirl factor – parents of girls know how important it can be that the dress allows for those picture-perfect twirls, and this one does not disappoint
While the dress might come with a price tag that makes you initially say “but it’s for dress up”, this is certainly not the case. It is truly a collectors piece that your daughter will wear and you will both treasure for ever. The value of the dress far exceeds the cost – you can put a price tag on precious memories.

My youngest daughter who is five loves to dress-up, any excuse birthday parties, non-uniform day a school, playing in the house or garden, trips to the supermarket – you name it she has worn a dressing-up outfit to it and to be honest I love it when she does. I love the innocence and the fact that she does’t care what people think just as long as she is happy and she thinks she looks pretty. I would love her to stay that way forever but I fear that won’t be the case. Sorry, going a bit off course here – I think that is a discussion for another day!!
